The Portable Altitude Chamber (PAC) is an effective, simple, durable, lightweight, and affordable hyperbaric chamber for use in high-altitude environments. You can rest assured knowing that you can treat altitude sickness in any situation, weather, and at any time.
The treatment for severe altitude sickness (HACE and HAPE) is descent. But when conditions do not allow for an immediate and effective descent, the use of PAC technology saves lives.
The concept of a hyperbaric chamber for treating altitude sickness has existed for over 30 years. The PAC works by increasing the pressure inside the chamber using a foot pump. In high-altitude environments, this increased pressure provides a therapeutically significant amount of extra oxygen to the patient, simulating a descent. This essential safety equipment has saved many lives.
The PAC is an Australian product, designed for both private and commercial trekking groups, as well as high-altitude expeditions.

Simple: The CAP has been designed to be as simple as possible to operate. A single operator can perform a complete treatment cycle. A summary of the manual’s instructions is printed on the CAP itself, and all valves are clearly labeled to avoid confusion.
Durable: Constructed of heavy-duty reinforced PVC, the chamber is robust and designed to withstand the demands of the mountains.
The lightweight PAC, with pump, hose, manual, repair kit and storage bag, weighs approximately 8 kg.
