Life annuity (individual)
Accidental lifetime annuity (lump sum payment)
Did you know that mandatory accident insurance doesn’t cover the potential long-term consequences of a sports accident? My recommendation: with Global Mountain Rescue’s lifetime accident annuity, you’ll have financial support if you suffer serious long-term consequences after a sports accident.
Lifetime pension
Following an accident during a leisure activity, if the overall physical disability is greater than 50%, the insured will receive a monthly lifetime pension according to the agreed amount:
- Annual payment of $11: Monthly lifetime annuity of $540
- Annual payment of $22: Monthly lifetime annuity of $1,080
- Annual payment of $33: Monthly lifetime annuity of $1,620
Guaranteed performance
The annuity is paid monthly in the agreed amount for life. After the beneficiary’s death, the monthly payments do not stop, but continue for the heirs for a maximum period of 20 years.
Duration
Regardless of the payment method chosen, insurance coverage for each individual member always begins the day after the insurer receives payment.
If an existing insurance period is still in effect at the time of payment, the new insurance coverage will begin on the first day after that period ends.
Safety during leisure time
Your insurance coverage applies to leisure accidents worldwide.
The insurance also covers climbing without restrictions on difficulty level, as well as high-altitude mountaineering without any altitude limit.
Work-related accidents and accidents occurring while participating in air sports, such as paragliding, are excluded. Further exclusions can be found in the general terms and conditions of the insurance.
Those who are members of Global Mountain Rescue (GMR) during the current year and have paid their membership fee are eligible for coverage, regardless of their permanent place of residence.
These conditions also apply without payment of the GMR fee for “members exempt from membership fees” (children) who are registered with GMR and therefore have their own membership number.
